How to Use

  1. Connect your USB barcode scanner to the computer
  2. Click in the "Barcode Data" input field above
  3. Scan a barcode from a DigiKey shipping label or part package
  4. The barcode will automatically appear in the field
  5. Press Enter or click "Process Barcode" to parse the data
  6. Review the extracted part information in the results section

Import PartKeepr Data

How to Import

  1. Export your PartKeepr database as an SQL dump file
  2. Select the SQL file using the upload button below
  3. Click "Import" to start the process
  4. Wait for the import to complete (this may take several minutes)
  5. Review the import summary for any errors or warnings

About Quantity Types

Quantity types define how part quantities are measured and displayed (e.g., pieces, liters, kilograms). The default "Pieces" type cannot be deleted and serves as a fallback when other types are removed.

About Part Detail Types

Detail types define the additional fields that can be attached to parts (e.g., Manufacturer Part Number, Footprint, Package). These become columns in the parts table and can be used for filtering and search. Deleting a detail type will remove all associated detail values from parts.
